Day 28: Kangaroo Island Weekend Part Three

Continuing the same day... We then headed for Remarkable Rocks. They were pretty remarkable! Here they are from where we parked. The weather had turned rather grey and drizzly.

You know how I love those morbid signs... Aaarrggh! A tsunami!!!

"I knew I shouldn't have worn my favorite hat... Where's Mary Poppins when you need her?"

At least you'll have fun on the way down...

Especially climbing upside down!

It was difficult to get shots without people in them, but I managed a few!

At least there were no selfie sticks back then!

I think the moral of this story is, if an idiot does something idiotic, don't get involved!

Remarkable wildflowers:

A dozing koala at our lunch spot:

We had a delicious lunch prepared on the barby by Dani. Toward the end this wallaby wandered up to our picnic bench.

Back in the van, Dani spotted this echidna under a bush at the side of the road. It wasn't about to reveal its face to us!

We parked near a trail to this viewpoint.

It began to rain... Hard!

Next stop was a dock where Australian Pelicans wait for their daily feeding.

Black swans on the lake nearby...

A decorated tree...

Our last stop, before boarding the ferry back to the mainland, was at a resident's driveway. He feeds these kangaroos around 5 pm every day.
